Gen AI Summit: tecnología, comunidad y visión de futuro

Valencia, April 11 and 12, 2025 – In the heart of the Marina de Empresas, more than 180 professionals gathered for an immersive experience focused on innovation, strategy, and ethics applied to Generative Artificial Intelligence (GenAI). It was not just another event: the GEN AI Summit was a turning point.

An event with a technological soul and a human perspective

More than a meeting about artificial intelligence, the GEN AI Summit 2025 was a celebration of community. Professionals from all over Spain and from different corners of Europe—even from Canada!—traveled to be part of an event that combined technical knowledge with the human warmth that characterizes the technical community. The atmosphere was exceptional: from the spontaneous applause in each presentation to the conversations between tracks, everything breathed collaboration, energy, and a desire to build.

The support of tech communities and the commitment of the speakers—brilliant, approachable, accessible—turned the GEN AI Summit into a transformative experience. Each talk was an exchange, not a master class. And behind every moment, there was a team that gave it their all: from those who coordinated sponsors, production, and communication, to those who put their hands, heads, and hearts into every logistical detail.

From strategic to practical: what was discussed at the Gen AI Summit

With a transversal approach, the talks covered everything from concrete applications of GenAI in health, energy, or public administration, to open debates on algorithmic biases, regulation, and the new challenges of technical leadership.

In the feedback from the attendees, the most outstanding presentations were:

  • Inspirational: They were surprised by GEN AI for Good by Conchita Diaz Cantarero from Google, the keynote, giving a totally unexplored perspective on the impact in this area.
  • In the technical field, the presentations by Gabriel Enriquez, Alberto Diaz Martin, and Cristian Bietti and Cristian Luna.
  • In the area of governance and ethics, those by Milos Borenovic and Patricia Llaque, with different points of view on the regulatory framework and with their particular style that generated just enough controversy to kick off conversations in great networking.

All the talks are available on the GEN AI Summit Youtube channel.

Tech Lead Forum: technical leadership in action

One of the most valued spaces of the event was the Tech Lead Forum, an exclusive meeting for CTOs and Tech Leads that brought together technical leaders from top-level European companies. This forum, designed for C-level profiles, offered an intimate and collaborative environment where real challenges in the implementation of GenAI were addressed.

The agenda included:

  • Opening panel with CTOs and Tech Leads sharing success stories and learnings in the adoption of Generative AI. In this first edition of the forum, we had Angel Llosa Guillen Head of Generative AI Enterprise Solutions for Iberia and Latam at NTT DATA Europe & Latam, Diego Parra, CTO LinkedAI, and Iwan van der Kleijn, Director- Head of Solutioning and Innovation (C&CA) Capgemini Spain moderated by Giuseppe Turitto representing LIDR.co who shared their challenges and successes using Gen AI with their extensive experience.

  • Open microphone, encouraging a sincere dialogue about challenges, doubts, and visions for the future.

  • Mediterranean brunch, facilitating relaxed and quality networking.

The experience was described by the attendees as “inspiring” and “essential to understand how AI is transforming software development and technical decision-making.”

This event will be held several times this year and in different cities. If you are a technical C-Level profile and want us to notify you of the next meetings, visit the Tech Lead Forum website.

Learnings, feedback, and new ideas

More than 25% of the attendees took to social media to share their experience at the event, which reflected the genuine enthusiasm for the quality of the content and the collaborative atmosphere. 📲 Explore the conversations by searching for the hashtag #GENAISummit on LinkedIn and X.

Among the key feedback we received, we highlight an idea that we will put into practice for the GEN AI Summit 2026:

More space is needed for practice: workshops with computers, hands-on and real scenarios.
